It's beneficial to 'cleanse' your crystal when you receive it/them. You can do this in a variety of ways; using sage, palo santo, incense sticks, running water (preferably spring water - check if your crystal can be put in water!), moonlight or sunlight, just be sure to check your crystals are suitable in water & sunlight, as some are not. I recommend cleansing your crystals at least once a month. If your crystal has been 'active' a lot, or appears hot, cleanse more regularly. Over time, you will just know! You build a little relationship with your crystals, they are like little friends!

Here at Lumi Gemstones, we pride ourselves on wrapping your items well & making sure they still feel like a gift to yourself, whilst also keeping the planet in mind.
We limit our bubble wrap usage, whilst ensuring your products are safe (on more delicate items, the bubble wrap usage will be higher), we re-use packaging from our supplier orders whilst still maintaining a high level of presentation, we use recyclable tissue paper, 100% recyclable plastic shipping bags & cardboard boxes.

We don’t offer a gift wrapping service at this time.
I love to allow our customers to choose their crystals, this is why we list as many specimens as possible individually, so that you can see individual crystals & choose the one you are most drawn to.
Unfortunately, due to high quantities of stock of certain items, such as raw crystals & tumblestones, I am not able to offer this option. We do not take requests on this items either, such as ‘a deep blue one’ or ‘a large light purple’ for instance, so please don’t be disappointed if your crystal isn’t exactly as requested.
Crystals are created by Mother Nature, & due to this they vary from piece to piece in colour, size & shape. I photograph as many different angles on our stock as possible, to give you the best view prior to ordering.
Unfortunately we can’t be held liable for courier delivery delays & unless agreed otherwise, no postage fee will be refunded for delays.
If your item is ‘lost in the post’ or uncollected from your sorting office, it will be returned to us. If this is the case, we will be in touch with you. Another postage fee will need to be paid before we re-dispatch your parcel, alternatively we can create a credit note for your order (excluding delivery fee) & you can spend this on the shop within 12 months. Unless your item is returned to us within 30 days, you won’t qualify for a refund.
If your item is damaged in the post, please get in touch straight away. We will need specific photographs of the packaging, along with the damaged item. We request these photographs in order for us to make a claim with the courier & receive a refund. We would not be able to offer a refund or send an alternative/replacement if we do not receive photographs, as this prevents us from claiming successfully.
In some cases we would ask for the item to be returned (we would refund you for delivery costs), this is for further investigation or to send to our suppliers so they can conduct an investigation (item dependant).
We aim to work together throughout this process, & come to a solution as soon as possible for you.
We use a variety of couriers. Our most popular is Royal Mail.
All orders are shipped with a fully tracked service .
- Standard delivery option: Tracked Royal Mail 48 - estimated delivery time of 2 working days, but can take 3-5 working days, or longer during busy periods.
- Royal Mail 24 delivery option: fully tracked, estimated delivery time of 1 working day, but can take 1-3 working days, or longer during busy periods.
- Special delivery option: fully tracked, estimated delivery time of 1-2 working days, guaranteed before 1pm on the 2nd working day
All international parcels are sent on a fully tracked & signed for service.
We accept returns for all jewellery items apart from earrings, this is due to health & safety legislation. We will only accept a return of earrings if the item has arrived & is faulty. Customers must contact us within 14 days of receiving the item to discuss the fault.
We do NOT ship with Delivery Duty Paid (DDP). This means that depending what country you are in & the cost of your order, you may be liable to pay import duty. This is charged at the rate of your country & only applies to goods valued higher than your country’s threshold. This can be found easily online, so you can calculate prior to ordering/receiving your goods.
We ship with Delivery At Place (DAP) which means that our customers are liable to pay any import duty & complete any paperwork requested from their couriers.
On Etsy, for some countries, you are now able to pay tax at the check out, which means you will not be charged again when customs receive your parcel.
We take no responsibility for any import charges.
We do not refund for any unclaimed, rejected international parcels unless we are at fault. We still offer refunds for international parcels if our returns process is followed (contact us within 14 days, & return to us within 30 days). We do not refund for unexpected, unapproved international parcels. If an international has been received back with us, we will contact you & ask if you want the parcel re-sending at your cost, or if you want a credit note issuing (this excludes shipping costs).
If an order is unclaimed in an EU country & is returned due to this, or is returned for ANY reason & there is an import duty payment outstanding, this payment will be deducted from any refund or credit note you are entitled to.
