Eposide 4 ... i n c o m i n g!Thank you for learning with us so far, we hope you're enjoying it!
Each week I have been educating you on a crystal of your choice through our website blog. We are working our way through the alphabet, & you can have your say on what crystal we discuss via our Instagram page @lumigemstones 💗
This week I am discussing your chosen 'D' crystal, which is the beautiful Danburite. Although we don't stock Danburite a lot, we can certainly source pieces, so watch this space if you'd like a piece of your own. For special requests, fill out the contact us form or DM us on social media 🙂
Chakras - Heart 💗 Third Eye 👁 & Crown 👑 chakra
Zodiac - Leo ♌️
Danburiate is mostly found in North America, specifically Conneticut, New York & even Mexico! It was first discovered in 1839 in the city of Danbury in Connecticut, which is where it derives its name from.
There's no two way about it, Danburite looks like Quartz! Make sure you look closely to your Danburite crystal - espeically if you are shopping for one - because you will see its prismatic crystal structure instead of a smooth surface like Quartz. Quartz is a slightly softer stone, so make sure to perform a scratch test if you are unsure of the trustworthiness of your source. Danburite is much more rare than Quartz; & in terms of texture, Danburite can be compared to colourless Topaz.
Danburite is a popular subsitite to Diamonds in jewellery, making it a very popular choice, & signifcantly more afforable than genuine Diamonds! 💎
Danburite encourages a deep spiritual enlightenment. It allows you to look inwards without the fear of what you may find. It promotes self love, self acceptance & self confidence. It encourages a harmonious connection between the heart, mind & spiritual world 🔮 it holds a very high vibration & is very, very powerful. It makes a fantastic crystal for removing any negative or stagnant energy from your space. Danburite is also beneficial if you are working with a highly emotional or sensitive situation, or if you are working with or on behalf of a friend or loved one.
I hope you've enjoyed learning more about this magical crystal, & I hope you'll join us next week for Episode 5 of Lumi Education, where we will be discussing your chosen 'E' crystal! To vote, head to our Instagram page! 💗
